Easter

Sawyer

Sawyer is at such a good age for holidays. He really gets into activities and treats and family/friend time. I really love it. He and Dawson think that everything egg shaped is the coolest, especially if there's candy inside.

His newest phrases to say include, "Are you kidding me?" and "You can't be you serious." Usually in response to me giving him behavior corrections. All the sass. He's so argumentative right now but it's also not really coherent arguing. Either way, it's still testing my patience.

We went to Delta for Easter and when we first got to Kristin's house, she came home with groceries that needed to be put away. After the boys helped bring in some bags, Kristin was in her pantry organizing and Sawyer went up, closed the door, and yelled, "Bye Kristin!" while running away and laughing. He is such a tease. Kristin and I both got a kick out of it.

Dawson

Dawson caught on to egg hunting really quickly thanks to Sawyer. He watches his older brother like a hawk and tries to mimic everything so tossing eggs in his basket was a pretty quick learn for him. Although, he wanted to open each one right when he got it instead of collecting a lot to open when the egg hunting was all done.

Dawson's two most favorite foods currently are "na-nacks" (fruit snacks) and "pah-tols" (popsicles). I think he's pretty proud that he now gets to hold the fruit snack pouch all by himself. And popsicles might even be first place over those fruit snacks. He seriously lives for popsicles.

Dillon

Dillon got weirdly sick while we were in Delta. He was nauseous and dizzy and slightly feverish but it wasn't flu like. He's had a few episodes like this in the past few months which is really unusual for him. And they always seem to happen after we've eaten out somewhere. He feels sick for 24-36 hours and then he's fine. But it's not food poisoning. It's so bizarre. My vote is gallbladder problems. His family kept telling him that he needs to go to do the doctor, which I've been telling him. He's usually so healthy that he just doesn't really worry about going in for yearly check-ups or anything but I think it would be good for him to get a once over and see what's up.

DaNae

Right before Easter, I got my hair done and decided to put some fun, vibrant blue pieces in it. It's definitely outside of the box for me but I decided now's a good time for some fun hair.

While in Delta, I went to one of Kristin's LIT classes with Bridgette, Allie, and Kailey. I seriously almost died of embarrassment and exhaustion ha. It was a really fun class but I'm also...really out of shape. It was a nice little reality check for me to up my exercising from just treadmill walking.

Since coming home, I've been having Dillon and the boys help me catch up on General Conference. We missed a lot of it during Easter weekend so we've been sneaking in an hour here and there during our evenings together. There were some really awesome changes announced and some really wonderful talks given.

A little pre-gaming backyard egg hunt so they'd know how to do it at the real deal.

Playing outside at Kristin's

Finally big enough to play on the trampoline.

Such a patient cat.

Ready to egg hunt. His little face in this picture kills me.

The Hinckley Lion.

The boys are in different age divisions so for the Hinckley egg hunt Dillon went with Dawson.

Then we switched for the Delta egg hunt and I went with Dawson while Dillon went with Sawyer.

Probably both Dawson and Sawyer's favorite prize from their hunting. This pinwheel.

Cotton candy time.

Little sugar goatee.

Grandma Ronna and Bridgette.

Dying eggs with Grandma.

Used Peeps..

The boys' baskets from the Easter Bunny.

Laying with poor, sick dad.

Dawson's reaction to me having Sawyer hold his hand for pictures.

That stink face..

Tired eyes while he snuggles Jaidyn.

Visiting the farm.

A puppy cow.

Sawyer is not much of an animal lover but he jumped right in to help Papa Steve and Kailey feed the lamb.
