Sawyer Eleven Months

During his eleventh month Sawyer:

Dressed up for his first Halloween- lumberjack style

Sometimes a lumberjack needs his wubbanub and dad

Started walking around while holding onto the edges of couches, chairs, toys, etc.

Got really good at mimicking people around him. For awhile we thought his first word was "up" because he said it so well and at appropriate times...but now I think he just liked to mimic us saying it. He IS all about high-fiving on demand though, mostly with his Grandpa Dale.

Zooming around in his racecar/tote with Dillon as the driver
Was all about ALL THE FOODS (mostly). If he wants what we have, he hangs out with his mouth gaping like a baby bird. We typically oblige.

Experienced his first Thanksgiving complete with watching Dillon and family play some football and, of course, good food and company at the grandparents' house.

As always, grew and grew so fast and changed so much. His personality is killer. He's a tease this one and he has my whole heart.

Sawyer Ten Months

During his tenth month Sawyer:

Had some kind of major sleep regression for a few weeks. I think he may have been teething but the tooth wiggled itself back down. Most nights he ended up in our bed out of sheer desperation. And then he'd wake up like this...little monkey.

Visited the Staheli Family Farm

Mastered how to drink from a straw, which has made my drinks no longer my own. I'm surprisingly okay with it.

Figured out how to pull himself up to a standing position

Got to play outside more once the vicious summer heat finally gave way to the pleasantness of fall

This boy has gotten so busy and so fun. I consider myself blessed to get to spend my days with him.
