My baby has hit the double digit mark and is ten months! This month was pretty chill developmentally but the biggest change for him (and me!) is that he consistently sleeps through the night now. I forgot what a huge difference it makes. I mean, I never forget how sleep deprived I feel and how good uninterrupted sleep is but I do forget how it feels to be kind of functional.
He is constantly on the go and never stops moving. He pulls himself up to stand on anything and everything he can. He's pretty good at getting himself back down from a standing position but hasn't quite mastered it yet. There have been a few "Timmberrr!!" like falls but he bounces back quickly.
He wants whatever food anyone around him is eating, even if he's just finished a bottle and/or his own food. And he's quite vocal if you don't meet his demands of being shared with.
He's hit that inevitable milestone where he throws stuff on the ground because A. Someone will then pick it up for him, which makes a great game or B He will then be put down (he thinks) to retrieve whatever item it is he's thrown and then be free to wander.
As more of his personality shows through, I'm starting to think there will be a lot of head to heads in my future. He's got the spunk and the stubborn, that's for sure.
