Wren Three Months

Three months! This month Wren found her hands, not so much with her eyes but totally with her mouth. She likes to chew and suck on her fingers instead of using a binky... she's still very anti binky. She started to be a little resistant to her occasional bottle but then I remembered that we probably needed to up the flow rate and then she was cool with it again (thank goodness!). Wren's also found her voice and is giving us some sweet little baby talk. She slept through the night a couple of times which was so nice but then also just had me knowing what I was missing all the other nights ha. She typically wakes up once a night which isn't too terrible. She's starting to be awake more during the day which has made her a little more needy because if she's awake, she would like to be held (I don't blame her). Her little legs are starting to uncurl and relax more. It was kind of quirky little thing for me to notice and then I got all the mom feelings of being sad that she was growing out of the baby ball stage but also grateful that she is healthy and growing. Feelings, man. Wren also likes to make spit bubbles more often than not. They're probably not entirely intentional but she usually has a pile of tiny spit bubbles hanging out that make her look like she's foaming at the mouth.

Dillon gave her the sweetest blessing. My favorite part was when she was blessed to have a friendly demeanor that will help her to uplift the downtrodden and reach out to those in need of friendship.
