Wren Four Months

Four month stats:

Weight: 12 lbs (16th percentile)
Height: 24 1/2 in (61st percentile)
Head: 15 3/4 in (23rd percentile)

Wren started wiggling  so much this month. I no longer feel really confident with her being on the bed or the couch unless I'm right by her. So I usually lay her on her play mat or on a blanket on the floor if I need to get something done that requires no baby in my arms. More often than not now, I find her in a different place than I put her in regards to the mat or blanket. I know she's not rolling yet so I figure that her super wiggles are scooting her to new places.

She's become a bit of a biter/pincher with her baby gums which is no fun for anyone. We have a routine of her nursing, then biting, I yell "ow" and tell her no, she juts out the saddest bottom lip and cries and cries. Resume nursing, and repeat. I'm not really sure what that's all about but hopefully it subsides soon.

Wren has become soooo vocal and it's seriously so funny. She is the squeakiest and chirpiest baby we've ever had. She has discovered her tongue and likes to stick it out and/or gnaw on it all the time. She's also found her hands with her eyes, not just her mouth, and likes to hold them straight out so that she can give them a good look. She does the funniest thing when someone holds her with her face facing their shoulder (or sometimes their arm) and will just lick and lick and lick at the fabric of their shirt like it's popsicle. She likes to play with her pink ball that has gaps for her to stick her fingers (or tongue) in. She started off the month still basically refusing to put any effort into tummy time but finished it off with at least attempting to lift her head for little bits of time.    Dillon will make his hand a little puppet and talk to Wren with it and she loves it so much. We caught her first really good laugh on video. She was, of course, laughing at her brothers being their silly selves.

It was a good month with Wren and we're all so happy she's part of our little family.

Sawyer requests for her to be near him on the couch when we watch movies and I love it.

Just sleeping with her eyes open. Very disconcerting.

Joining in on the noise of play time.

Her second Halloween costume.

Love.

Just giving those hands a gander.

Sawyer decided to snuggle up with his baby sister on the floor, share a blanket with her, and tell her stories.

More squeaks.

Halloween day.

All three ready for some trick or treating.

Always rocking the sling.

Fell asleep like this before I could even move the bow.

Sweet sleeping hands, less sweet half open eyes ha.

Fell asleep sitting up at the sheep parade.

Finally lifted her head for a significant amount of time.

Just her typical spit bubble face.

Giggling away.

I love when the boys request to hold her and the way she looks at them each time they do.

Pink ball is the best toy.

Just smiling away while Sawyer gives her a lesson on the names of all the dinosaurs.

Something about sleepy baby face always has me whipping out my phone for a picture.

Wren meeting her shared due date buddy, little Camden.

They ended up being born 24 hours apart.

Maddie with Wren and me with Camden.

More from her four month picture shoot.

My favorite moments.

Shared well check day.
