Wren One Month

Three day stats:

Weight: 7 lb 4 oz (35th percentile)
Height: 20 1/2 in (81st percentile)
Head: 13 1/2 in (33rd percentile)

Two week stats:

Weight: 8 lb 1 oz (43rd percentile)
Height: 21 in (78th percentile)
Head: 14 in (42nd percentile)

Wren hit her one month mark! So far, she is a very calm and easygoing baby. She likes her sleep, which I am extremely grateful for. She sleeps medium to long stretches both during the day and at night between her feedings and her short awake times. She has zero schedule so I don't know when those longer stretches will fall but I'll take them when they come. When she is awake, she definitely prefers to be held. She's nursing like a champ and has almost made it seem easy.. almost. We have started offering her one bottle during the week and she has taken it really well. Dillon does the bottle which I'm sure helps. I'm not sure she would do it if it was me. I was surprised how easy she took to it because she really is not a fan of the pacifier. She's taken it a handful of times but generally gags until it's removed from her mouth. She has started to interact more and find our faces when we talk to her. She's even given us a couple of grins and it is the best seeing her little smile. 

She's really close to outgrowing some of her newborn clothes but I've been squeezing her into them a little bit longer because I can't accept that she's gotten bigger just yet. She's pretty chill with bath time until you get her out of the warm water and rudely assault her with baby lotion. 

Her brothers are still really into her and like to give her their affection with pets, snuggles, kisses, and shared toys. Dillon and I love her just as much and are so glad she's part of our family.

Happy first month, baby girl!

Sweet little sleepy face. I can't believe how much she's changed already! They lose that newborn puffiness and really start emerging as their own person that first month.
