During his third month Sawyer:
- Met some baby friends...
Baby Sam who he gets to hang out with all day while mom's at work. We sure are grateful that Sam and his mom Amy are willing to take on an extra!
Baby Westin (and his mom Maddie). Those boys are only a month apart and it was fun for all of us to get together.
- Started some reflux medicine that has helped with his pukes. He still throws up plenty but it has certainly decreased in amount and he doesn't cry like he's in pain anymore.
This picture has nothing to do with his reflux...but it is pure awesomeness
- Decided to be a major fist chewer
- Really started focusing on things around him and interacting more
- Came to a conclusion on tummy time...not a fan. Though we've tried things to help, like the assistance of the boppy. Little dude's got a crooked head so whatever it takes.
- Went on a lot of outings including...
First church trip
First Wal-Mart trip
You Be The Chemist competition with mom and her students....where a random student ran up and told us, "He's sooo cute! He looks like Dopey!" Ha. Kids.
Science Fair at SUU with mom and students
First movie at the theater.. Cinderella
Some outdoor strollin'
- Subsequently, caught his first cold. But he still rocked his green for St. Patrick's Day. And we found out at the pediatrician's that he is now up to 12 lbs 2 oz.
- Kept up some of his sleep habits and started some new ones.
A little sleep eating above
Still has his hands by his face and sometimes leaves little prints on his noggin.
Lately he's started rubbing his own head, always with his right hand, while he falls asleep
- Was blessed by Dillon, surrounded by family and friends. This was such a special day. His blessing was perfect and, of course, put things back in perspective as sometimes needs to happen.
What a happy thing that Sawyer is ours forever. We love him more and more with every passing day. Being a mom makes me so happy in such new ways. There are certainly some hard things about it (like the cosmic joke that is nursing), but I have no doubt that Sawyer is an easy baby, as far as babies go. He's so content to just be.
And one more cute picture...because all of the above are not enough.
